Khan has said that he will apply for the post of head coach of the team but will submit his application only to Chairman PCB. He went on to say that he was not interested in coaching foreign teams.

He added billions of rupees were spent on coaches in the past in the past but no results were achieved.

The ex-chief selector refused to be interviewed by Ramiz Raja and Wasim Akram by stating that they were his juniors.

Khan said, “We need to get rid of some people who have been attached with the cricketing board throughout the years.”

It should be noted that PCB is yet to appoint a head coach of the team since Waqar Younis resigned from the team following the side’s horrid show in the Asia Cup and World Twenty20 this year.
