Talking to media after addressing a ceremony at Jamia Qasmia here, Sardar Yousuf said that gambling or going to a casino is forbidden in Islam.
“The chief selector of the national cricket team committed an illegal act, which he also confessed later”, he said.
“After his confession to have gone to a casino, Moin should be punished”, suggested the minister.
In response to a question, Yousuf denied Daesh’s presence in Pakistan, saying that the reports circulated in this regard have no substance.
The minister for religious affairs clarified that seminaries have nothing to do with terrorism, they are only propagating Islam.
