Money-laundering case: London police questioning MQM chief

LONDON: Mutahidda Qaumi Movement (MQM) has categorically denied involvement of party chief Altaf Hussain in money laundering, ARY News reported.

MQM spokesperson said two officials of UK Metropolitan Police are ‘interviewing’ Mr. Hussain.

The spokesperson said British legal committee members are also accompanying the MQM chief.

According to sources, the MQM head responded most of the questions of London police officials by saying “no comments”.

Mr. Hussain will submit plea for extension in his bail plea. If case of non-approval of bail, the MQM chief will face legal case in the court.

Sources told that it may take several hours for complete of Mr. Hussain’s questioning.
