Mosque imam in Istanbul lets in stray cats to escape biting cold

ISTANBUL: A mosque’s doors were opened for stray cats in the city, who were struggling to survive in the biting cold.

According to details, when an Imam saw how the cats were suffering due to the bone-chilling cold, he ordered the gates of a mosque to be opened for stray cats. Now, these cats enjoy the warmth of the carpets and are no more suffering from the harsh cold.

According to reports, the cats are enjoying their stay by being fed warm milk and also getting plenty of sleep.

Mustafa Efe, of the Aziz Mahmud Hüdayi Mosque, won plenty of hearts around the world when he posted a video clip of a cat bringing her kittens from the harsh cold in the streets to the safety and warmth of the mosque.
