Talking to ARY News, Farogh Naseem said that MQM chief Altaf Hussain clarified his stance before the registration of First Information Report (FIR) against him by a top Rangers official.
Naseem was of the view that the FIR registered in one country would have no legal value in another adding that MQM is a responsible political party and will continue to play its democratic role.
Earlier a case was registered at Civil Lines Police Station in Karachi, by a top Rangers official against MQM Chief Altaf Hussain under anti-terrorism charges.
In the FIR MQM chief was charged of issuing threats to Rangers and law enforcement agencies officials.
While ARY News Islamabad bureau chief, Sabir Shakir on Tuesday citing sources claimed that the government of Pakistan has tasked the Ministry of Interior to inform the British authorities about recent developments with respect to the Muttahida Qaumi Movement and the details of a case registered against its chief, Altaf Hussain.
