In a statement released by the party, MQM advised the AIG Sindh to focus on the protection of life and property of the citizens and refrain from issuing political statements to foreign and local media.
The party questioned AIG’s role in curbing crime within police by stating that Thebo should tell the people of Sindh as to what action he has taken against police personnel patronizing land mafia, tanker mafia, drug sellers, gang war men and other criminals turning the law enforcement agency into a mafia.
While again advising Thebo to focus on his professional duties, MQM spokesperson said that law and order cannot be maintained in the city if such high ranking officers neglect their professional responsibilities to appease the people in power.
It must be noticed that AIG Sindh Ghulam Qadir Thebo, in an interview with a foreign media house claimed that MQM has divided into several groups which might have led to disappearance of the party workers.
