MQM agrees to join PPP in Sindh govt

KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) have sorted out the differences regarding coalition in Sindh government and Senate elections, ARY News reported.

Sources revealed that yesterday night, detailed negotiations were held between Governor Sindh Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ibad and PPP Leader Rehman Malik.The sides were reached to a reconciliation formula in the sessiion.

Co-chairman of PPP Asif Ali Zardari, later telephoned MQM Chief Altaf Hussain in London and invited MQM to join hands with PPP in Sindh government, which Altaf Hussain accepted, sources said.

According to sources, MQM and PPP will devise a joint strategy for unopposed victory of their candidates in senate elections in Sindh.

Altaf Hussain and Asif Zardari also agreed to work together for the betterment of the province.

Rehman Malik is likely to leave for London to thank Altaf Hussain for his decision to reconcile with Zardari-led PPP.
