MQM announces peaceful protests ‘to expose PPP’

Acting MQM Deputy Convener Nadeem Nusrat said that his leader Altaf Hussain had today exposed anti-MQM policies of the PPP and represented the wishes of the people. He revealed that in his latest statement, MQM chief Altaf Hussian had addressed all office bearers, workers and the general public. Altaf Hussain had stated that PPP had once again adopted illegal and cheap tactics to harm the very existence of MQM

Nadeem Nusrat said that PPP was actively trying to make life miserable for the general public residing in areas from where MQM had won in the local elections. He said MQM chief Altaf Hussain had also said that the city’s water pipelines were being harmed on a daily basis, which was all part of a conspiracy against MQM. Nadeem Nusrat also said that Altaf had said in cities such as Karachi, Hyderabad and Mirpurkhas, man-holes were deliberately being left uncovered which was resulting in citizens’ cars being damaged, other than the physical and emotional harm being done to them.

As evidence, MQM chief Altaf presented Chief Minister Sindh Qaim Ali Shah’s statement from 10th January 2016 wherein the CM had stated,”When the operation started out, it was going in the right direction. However, after turning it towards the PPP, the operation was being made political.”

Nadeem Nusrat revealed that MQM chief Altaf Hussain had urged all officer bearers and workers of MQM to prepare themselves mentally and physically to foil all such conspiracies, just as they had done so in the past as well. He said the MQM chief had urged his people to expose the PPP-led government’s illegal steps through peaceful protests.
