MQM Rabita Committee in a statement said that the party’s unit and sector offices will be reopened and asked its members of the parliament to ensure their presence at the party offices.
The party statement said that the party’s lawmakers will remain at the party offices to hear complaints of the people about the problems being faced by the citizens.
The statement also said that all party offices will become election cells for the upcoming local councils elections.
MQM lawmakers had resigned on August 12 as protest against the alleged victimization of the party workers during Karachi operation.
The MQM is the fourth largest party in the 342-seat National Assembly with 24 MNAs, third largest in the 104-seat Senate with 8 members and the second largest in the 168-seat Sindh Assembly with 51 members.
