MQM chief to mourn Peshawar attack for 3 days

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain announced to suspend all political activities for three days to mourn deadly Peshawar school attack, ARY News reported.

MQM chief while condemning the gruesome incident in strong words termed the Army Public School attack a ‘national’ disaster.

He urged the government to call a round table conference to develop a collective strategy to fight terrorists adding that nation should put aside all differences and support army in their bid to eliminate miscreants.

Hussain said that if one can stage a 100 day sit-in for political demands, a 10 day sit should also be arranged to cleanse country from the menace of terrorism.

MQM will suspend all political activities from today. Party workers are advised to take part in relief activities and donate blood for victims.
