According to details, MQM delegation headed by Dr Farooq Sattar held a meeting with the premier earlier today, in which the MQM members informed him about their reservations with PPP-led Government of Sindh.
They informed the PM that they had differences with the Pakistan People’s Party in Sindh over mega projects of Karachi. “The PPP is not giving heed to projects of Karachi, leading to sense of deprivation among the citizens,” the MQM delegation told the PM.
At which the prime minister urged that the democratic forces should try to resolve their issues by holding talks with each other. He stressed that all the political parties should stand united and work for the betterment of the country including development works in Sindh.
MQM delegation included Dr Farooq Sattar, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Rasheed Godial and Nasreen Jalil, while the Information Minister Pervez Rasheed, Railways Minister Khwaja Saad Rafique and PM’s political secretary, Asif Kirmani were there at the meeting along with PM Nawaz Sharif.
Sources told that MQM delegation will again meet the prime minister tomorrow for consultation to reach a conclusive end.
