MQM calls for immediate action against banned-outfits

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Monday strongly condemned the killings of the party workers, ARY News reported.

Addressing a press conference at MQM Headquarter Nine-Zero today, MQM leader Haider Abbas Rizvi said the writ of the government is being openly challenged by the militants in Karachi.

“The concerned authorities were taking no action against those terrorists involved in killings of MQM workers and others”, said Haider Abbas Rizvi.

MQM leader questioned that why did sectarian killings being happened only in Karachi?

He asked federal and provincial governments to take immediate action against the banned-outfits targeting MQM workers and people of a specific school of thought.

Haider Abbas Rizvi appealed COAS General Raheel Sharif, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Interior Minister and Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah to take steps for the arrest of militants involved in killing of MQM workers.
