MQM dubs PTI a political wing of Taliban

KARACHI: MQM’s Rabita Committee on Monday hit out at Imran Khan and called his party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf a political wing of Taliban, ARY News reported.

Addressing a press conference here, MQM leaders Kanwar Naveed Jameel and Waseem Akhtar said Imran praised his workers for attacking PTV headquarters in Islamabad.

They said Imran Khan considers Karachiites good if they vote him, otherwise the citizens are ridiculed.

Waseem Akhtar warned Khan to refrain from using foul language against the citizens of Karachi.

The PTI chief had recently stated in his statement that living corpses attend MQM rallies, which had drawn strong reaction from the latter.

Akhtar insisted that MQM candidate will emerge victorious in NA-246 by elections which are scheduled to take place on April 23.
