After a long meeting of joint opposition parties, Leader of the Opposition Khursheed Shah announced that a MQM member will also be a part of the joint opposition’s six-member inquiry committee.

Earlier, MQM was not given a representation in the opposition committee.

Senator Muhammad Ali Saif will represent the party in the six-member opposition committee, who will replace Aftab Ahmed Sherpao, Khursheed Shah told the media.

Shah talking along with Dr. Farooq Sattar said that it was a little misunderstanding between MQM and other opposition parties, which has now been ironed out. He said the committee will sit on Monday to work out the ToRs of the Panama Papers probe.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif also discussed the ToRs issue with the ruling party stalwarts.

The prime minister discussed the formation of the government side of the committee and likely terms of reference of the probe.
