MQM lawmaker calls for Muhajir province in Sindh Assembly

KARACHI: Mutahidda Qaumi Movement (MQM) lawmaker on Friday demanded in the Sindh Assembly the formation of Muhajir province as demanded by the large Muhajir populace, ARY News reported.

Kamran Akhtar, during the Sindh Assembly session, said Muhajir province should be established in light of the demand of people belonging to the same community.

He also presented a resolution regarding Sindh Public Service Commission. Under the resolution, he demanded the list of successful candidates of SSPC should be presented in the house.

On the other side, Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon said PPP’s message was clear, which is “Marson Marson Sindh Na Desun”.

He said controversial issues should not be brought to the house for political aims.
