MQM leader warns Imran against holding Karachi rally

KARACHI: Mutahidda Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Tuesday took out a mammoth rally in Karachi in support of its party chief and condemned PTI chairman Imran Khan for his strong bashing against Altaf Hussain, ARY News reported.

Addressing workers on the occasion, several MQM leaders subjected PTI chief Imran Khan to intense criticism for diatribe targeting Mr. Hussain.

MQM leader Babar Ghouri warned Imran that “Karachiites will never let your rally take place in the city.”

He asked Imran why not he spoke when Timber Market caught fire in Karachi.

Farooq Sattar said a ‘sea’ of people is the answer of Imran’s castigation against MQM chief.

“We all are Altaf Hussain,” shouted Sattar while addressing party supporters. He said conspiracy was hatched to stop MQM, ANP and PPP from contesting last general elections.

Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said no force could detach MQM workers from their leader. He said those supporting terrorists should also be sent to military courts.  It’s MQM job to expose people like Imran Khan, he added.

He termed Imran Khan ‘wrong number’ who is misleading the nation. Other MQM leaders including Faisal Sabzwari also addressed the rally.
