MQM leader's uncle shot dead in Lahore

LAHORE: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Central Punjab President Amir Baloch’s uncle was killed in a firing incident at Green Town area of Lahore on Saturday, ARY News reports.

According to details, Amir Baloch and his uncle were travelling in a vehicle when five gunmen opened fire at them. Baloch remain unscathed in the firing incident but his uncle was killed.

Police has arrived at the scene and started collecting evidences from the crime site. The case is being investigated from all angles which includes target killing as well, sources said.

It should be noted that MQM’s MNA Tahira Asif was also shot dead in June 2014 in Lahore as well.
