MQM ministers submit resignations to Governor, CM Sindh

KARACHI: Provincial Ministers and advisors belonging to Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) sent their resignations to Governor Sindh and Chief Minister Sindh, ARY News reported on Monday.

MQM on Sunday night announced to leave Sindh Government after controversial statements from PPP leadership.

According to details, Health Minister Dr. Sagheer Ahmed, Trade and Industry Minister Abdul Rauf Siddiqui, Advisor on Sports affairs Adeel Sidddiqui, Youth Affairs advisor Faisal Sabzwari, Special Assistant for Auqaf Abdul Haseeb tendered their resignations.

Sagheer Ahmed and Abdul Rauf Siddiqui sent their resignations to Governor Sindh, Ishrat-ul-Ebad while the Faisal Sabzwari, Adil Siddiqui and Abdul Haseeb sent their resignations to Chief Minister Sindh Qaim Ali Shah.

MQM will further submit the application for allotment of opposition benches today in Sindh Assembly. An oppostion leader will soon be selected from the party’s assembly members.
