MQM not considering to join Sindh govt: Khalid Maqbool

KARACHI: Leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said on Monday that his party isn’t considering the option to join Sindh government, ARY News reported.

Talking to media after attending inaugural ceremony of cricket tournament organized by All Pakistan Muttahida Students Organization (APMSO) at Valika Stadium, University of Karachi, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said although there is an opposition leader in Sindh assembly but MQM will bring its own opposition leader, if needed.

MQM Leaders expressed hope that his party will win four senate seats in the upcoming election.

Speaking about national cricket team’s performance in World Cup, Khalid Maqbool criticized team selection by saying “appropriate players were not selected for the mega event.”

Talking on the occasion, national cricketer Fawad Alam said winning and losing is the part of game. Fawad said he is hopeful that team Pakistan will make a comeback to qualify for the next round.
