MQM sacks Rabita Committee heads

Pakistan Rabita Committee was headed by Qamar Mansoor while Arshad Hussain was looking after London’s RC forum.

According to sources, Mustafa Aziz Abadi has now been tasked with overseeing party affairs in London, while party senior leaders Amir Khan, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and Dr. Nusrat are named as joint incharge of Rabita Committee in Pakistan.

On December 11, 2014, MQM chief Altaf Hussain had removed then Rabita Committees of London and Pakistan over a lack of response by the committee to the killing of an office-bearer Bao Anwar in Sialkot.

In his speech, Hussain had accused the coordination committee and parliamentarians of making money by “selling playgrounds and streets, forgetting the party and workers”.
