MQM Rabitta Committee (RC), while condemning brutal murder of party worker Nadeem Ahmed, held Taliban and Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ) responsible for targeting their activist.
In a press conference, MQM leader Haider Abbass Rizvi said that party workers and office bearers were receiving death threats from LeJ and other terrorists, but no action has been taken against them yet.
Rizvi said MQM was being targeted for raising voice against religious extremism and fanaticism.
Replying to a question about Jamia Hafsa’s student support to ‘Daesh’, he said complete action should be taken against those who are abetting terrorists.
MQM leaders complained that a banned outfit was operating in Karachi with a different name but law enforcement agencies were not taking any action against them. They sought clarification from IG police Sindh and chief minister Sindh over killing of their party worker.
