MQM leader Faisal Sabzwari said the rulers should be ashamed of deaths and hard-scrabble living conditions in Thar due to drought. He also criticized the CM for ‘mishandling’ of crisis in Thar that has claimed dozens of lives.
He rejected allegations of the CM against MQM’s Dr. Sagheer Ahmed, saying his party member remained the minister for just six months. The man solely responsible for Thar situation is Qaim Ali Shah, said Sabzwari.
Dr. Sagheer Ahmed, who was present on the occasion, said he visited Tharparkar two times during his tenure as the minister.
He said MQM was unnecessarily being criticized for Thar situation.
