MQM to be responsible if any PTI worker harmed: Ismail

KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has once again launched its diatribe against rival MQM ahead of key by-election in National Assembly constituency (NA-246) on April 23, ARY News reported.

“This is the first time that someone dared to challenge MQM in Karachi,” said Imran Ismail, a candidate fielded by PTI in NA-246.

Ismail said MQM would be responsible if any of PTI workers was harmed at PTI election camp in the constituency.

He rejected to accept presiding officers designated by Sindh government for upcoming by polls.

Ismail said MQM is afraid of Tehreek-e-Insaf and fearing defeat. He announced that PTI chairman Imran Khan will visit NA-246 tomorrow.

He claimed that NICs of people are being snatched forcefully in the constituency.

He said PTI would not allow any rigging taking place in the by-election in NA-246 on April 23. He alleged that MQM men had taken away all the things from PTI camp near Karimabad.

Speaking on the occasion, PTI leader Faisal Wada said his party had the charge-sheet which proves that MQM chief Altaf Hussain is an absconder.

He demanded Pakistan Electronic Media and Regulatory Authority to take notice of speeches of Altaf Hussain.
