MQM to observe ‘Black Day’ on Oct 26

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has announced to observe ‘Black Day’ on Sunday over PPP Leader Khursheed Shah’s remarks about ‘Muhajir’, ARY News reported.

Addressing the press conference at MQM Headquarter Nine-Zero located in Karachi, member of MQM RC Abdul Haseeb informed that edicts of clerics against Shah has been submitted in courts adding “He [Khursheed Shah] stands guilty of Shariah and nation for his statement.”

“Khursheed Shah, in his statement on October 17, termed word ‘Muhajir’ as abuse at least four times while virtues of Muhajir defined eight times in the Holy Quran”, he added.

Announcing to observe Sunday as Black Day, Abdul Haseed appealed transporters and traders to suspend their routine activities.
