MQM to take out protest rally against Rangers raids today

KARACHI: The Mutahidda Qaumi Movement will stage a protest rally in city’s Liaquatabad area against raids of Rangers personnel on party offices, ARY News reported.

The decision for protest rally was taken at a joint meeting of Rabita Committee of London and Karachi.

The rally will be taken out from Liaquatabad no.10 to Dr. Ziauddin Road at 2pm today.

The paramilitary force personnel rounded up at least seven persons on MQM office in F.C. area Liaquatabad on late Wednesday.

Yesterday, MQM leader Farooq Sattar had a telelphonic conversation with DG Rangers Sindh in which Sattar assured him of cooperation.

DG Rangers had also said those found innocent would be released after investigation.
