MQM withdraws strike call for Monday

The MQM head made the announcement while exclusively speaking to ARY News here. “I appeal Rabita Committee to withdraw strike call and leave the matter on the Almighty Allah with a hope that justice would be provided to the MQM,” He said.

He, however, informed that business centers will remain while the party will continue observing mourning.

Mr. Hussain said schools were reopening from tomorrow, hence closure of the city would add to the plights of parents.

He said traders and transporters could now open their business from 5pm today. Regarding bleak security conditions, he said citizens must now take measures for the own security.

He lamented that the killers of MQM worker Faraz Alam could not be apprehended as yet.

If government in capable of providing security, then it should give weapons to the traders’ community for self-defence, he added.
