MQM workers picked up from KU handed over to Rangers

KARACHI: Four persons who were arrested from University of Karachi have now been handed over to Rangers for 90 days, ARY News reported.

Arrested men Navaid Siddiqui, Shamshad, Zeeshan and Rehan are facing charges of targeted killing as well as other crimes.

They were picked up by the law enforcement officials from university’s Admin Block on suspection of their involvement in criminal activities.

The suspects were produced at the Anti Terrorism Court where the court allowed Rangers to detain them for 90 days.

On April 15, the paramilitary force personnel first arrived at the admin block and beseiged the building, sparking panic in the surrounding. Students also gathered around the building after witnessing an unusual development.
