MQM delegation calls on Pervez Musharraf

KARACHI: Delegation of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) called on former president Pervez Musharraf at his residence today, ARY News reported.

During the meeting overall political situation of the country with special focus on Sindh, law and order situation, senate election and political coalition formed in Sindh were discussed, sources said.

Pervez Mushhraf thanked MQM Chief Altaf Hussain for extending his support in his hour of need.

Sources said that the former president also expressed concern over extra judicial killing of MQM workers.

It is pertinent to mention that, this is the second meeting between MQM and All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) in a week.

MQM delegation included joint incharge of MQM Rabitta Committee (RC) Khalid Maqbool Sidiqui, Dr. Farooq Sattar, Senator Babar Ghauri, Rauf Siddiqui and others.
