Addressing a press conference tonight, Dr. Farooq Sattar said Aitzaz Ahsan’s support to Khursheed Shah over his remarks about Muhajir has shocked the whole Muhajir community.
“Aitzaz is not only a parliamentary leader but also a sensible lawyer and mature man and we are not expecting such kind of stance from him”, he added.
MQM Leader said that it seemed as if Khursheed Shah had appointed Aitzaz Ahsan as his counsel over the issue.
He said Aitzaz’s criticism on MQM’s protest demonstration is invalid as conducting protest is democratic right of every citizen.
On the other hand, a high level delegation of MQM will called on Prime Minister Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif in Islamabad on Tuesday.
During the meeting several issues including political situation of the country, PML-N and MQM working relationship and mega projects of Karachi will be discussed. MQM will demand for the removal of Khursheed Shah from the post of NA opposition leader, sources said.
