Mullah Mansour’s body handed over to Afghanistan, says Nisar

He said that the body had been handed over to Afghanistan. He said that the drone which struck him hot not come in the range of the air force.

Earlier, He was addressing a high-level meeting with officials of NADRA where he made the remarks. He said that an emergency was imposed in the institution as there can be no place for corruption.

Nisar said that not 25 million but rather 105 million National Identity Cards (NIC)  will have to be verified, but promised there will be no inconvenience provided to the people.

He said that if anyone was of the knowledge that an Afghan citizen had an identity card then they should come forward and lodge their complaints. He said that Afghan citizens who voluntarily gave up their identity cards will be facilitated.

Nisar announced a reward of ten thousand rupees will be given to those who identifies anyone with a false identity card.

He was this was a tough task but it was a national responsibility. He reiterated that those officials who facilitate  in the issuance of falsified identity cards will be sentenced to 14 years in prison.

He announced that in the last two and half years, more than 250,000 suspicious or doubtful cards will blocked. Whereas only 539 cards will blocked by previous governments. He said that not a single card was blocked during the era of Pervez Musharraf.

He said that action was taken without any discrimination and they will continue to do so in the future.
