A woman, out of the protestors who blocked traffic on the main artery, alleged that police raided house of the victim woman and misbehaved and beat them up.
“They even did not spare a pregnant woman, who is now in critical situation and has been shifted to a nearby hospital,” said another woman.
Police said a house of Malook Basti was raided on tipoff of presence of a wanted criminal. They alleged that the women of the house helped the criminals run away which led to some harsh words but scuffle was not broken with them.
