Muslim MLA faces ink attack by Hindu extremists in New Delhi

SRINAGAR: In continuation of their violent attacks on Muslims and Pakistanis, Hindu extremists threw ink on the face of a Muslim member of the Legislative Assembly of India-occupied Kashmir Engineer Rashid on reports that he allegedly hosted a ‘beef party’.

They also manhandled him when he was addressing a news conference on the issue of martyrdom of a truck driver.

The attack took place at the Press Club in Delhi. This was the second attack on the MLA within a fortnight.

Rashid was earlier this month thrashed by BJP MLAs inside the Jammu & Kashmir assembly for hosting a party where he served beef on the lawns of the government circuit house. Rashid and his supporters staged a protest along with his supporters against the attack.
