MWM dissatisfied with Muharram security arrangements

ISLAMABAD: Majlis-e-Wehdat e Muslimeen chief Allama Raja Nasir Abbas on Sunday expressed complete dissatisfaction over security arrangements for Muharram across the country, ARY News reported.

Addressing a press conference here, he deplored that thousands of mourners were stranded in Quetta and struggling to take part in central processions of Ashura due to over-stringent security arrangements.

He asked rationale of security measures that was even preventing the mourners to even attend processions.

The MWM chief said said that terrorists were handful, therefore people should be included in decision-making for to devise better strategy to cope with the menace of terrorism.

He said the fire of terrorism must now be doused, before it took too late.
