The Groundbreaking Ceremony of the 1 MWp Solar Power Project of Nobel Energy Ltd. was held on 17th February, 2015.The Chief Guest of the ceremony Lt. General Muhammad Ahsan Mahmood, HI(M) Chairman POF & Wah Nobel Board stated “The industrial sector is worst hit by energy shortage therefore it is of paramount importance that such captive solar projects are installed to address the immediate energy needs.” Other attendees at the event were Chief Executive Wah Nobel Group, Mr. Syed Naseem Raza and Chief Executive, Nobel Energy Ltd. Brig. (R) Shiraz Ullah Choudhry including CEO Reon Energy Solutions, Mr. Inam ur Rahman.
The power plant project will provide sufficient electricity to meet the needs of the chemical plant. “It is believed that this landmark project will instill confidence in industrialists, entrepreneurs and investors, and may help change the energy sector landscape. Such projects, if initiated, will help bridge the gap between electricity supply and demand,” said Brig. (R) Shiraz Ullah Chaudhry, Chief Executive Nobel Energy Ltd.
This newly initiated project will go a long way in setting new trends in acquiring energy self-sufficiency and countering the energy shortfall in the country.
