NA-122 Case: Imran files case against scrutiny commission

LAHORE: Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has filed a petition against the scrutiny commission probing the rigging evidences in NA-122 Lahore constituency in an election tribunal, ARY News reports on Wednesday.

Imran Khan, in the petition, stated that rigging evidences were found during the scrutiny process in NA-122 case but the commission did not add them in the report.

He further said that ambiguity has been created regarding the court proceedings due to the contradictory statements of the local commission.

PTI Chairman has appealed the tribunal to take action against the local commission according to the law.

It should be mentioned that PTI Chairman has accused National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq of winning the NA-122 general elections by rigging the polls.
