NAB to seek Dr Asim’s remand for investigation

KARACHI: The National Accountability Bureau has completed paper work for arrest of PPP leader Dr. Asim Hussain, ARY News reported.

Sources informed that NAB would seek Dr. Hussain’s remand in the corruption cases against him.

The accountability bureau decided to arrest the PPP leader that close aides of Dr. Hussain appeared in the NAB court and recorded their testimony.

Both the aides – Shoaib Warsi and Zubair Siddiqui –are currently under custody of NAB for 14 days remand. They are facing charges of supplying gas to illegal CNG stations in the city.

According to sources, Dr. Asim Hussain used to offer medical assistance to terrorists at his hospital.
