KARACHI: “Had the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) was working effectively, all corrupt leaders would have been caught,” said Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) on Friday.
Speaking to media representatives in the port city, Khan said that efforts were not being made to improve the performance of NAB just to save high-profile dishonest political leaders in Pakistan.
“By bringing Pakistan’s stolen money back home, our issues can be solved,” said PTI Chairman.
Khan who has been in Karachi since Thursday on a three-day visit did not forget to comment on the heaps of garbage scattered in the city.
He said that it was sad to see that a city like Karachi was forced to bear litter in its neighbourhoods and public places.
Chairman PTI also demanded an operation against armed groups in the province of Punjab.
