KARACHI: Prominent politician Nabil Gabol and his son Nadir Gabol met PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and announced to join Pakistan People’s Party, ARY News reported.
Nabil’s joining of Sindh’s ruling party ended months of speculation as he left the rival Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) months ago and was yet to join any political party.
Nabil’s son Nadir Gabol announced the news on his Twitter profile with a picture of him alongside his father and PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari.

“On the occasion, Nabeel Gabol expressed full confidence in the leadership of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Asif Ali Zardari,”said a statement issued by PPP.
Back in December 2016, through a tweet, Nabil Gabol announced that PTI Spokesman Naeem ul Haq met him at his residence and offered him to join PTI .

In the past, Gabol remained an active member of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), later he joined Muttahida Qaumi Movement for a brief period of time. He was elected MNA from NA-246.
