Nabil Gabol says PTI chief created ‘New MQM’

KARACHI: Former Member of National Assembly Sardar Nabil Gabol said on Thursday that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan created a ‘New MQM’ before a new Pakistan, ARY News reported.

Commenting on PTI chief Imran Khan’s Karachi visit and his reception by Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) at Azizabad’s Jinnah Ground, Nabil Gabol tweeted that Khan has forced MQM to act wisely.

The Twitter message reads” Wat a scene at Jinnah Ground , IK until he make Naya Pakistan he has forced MQM to act wise”

Gabol added that “this is called Naya MQM made by Khan”.

The NA-246 seat fell vacant after Nabil Gabol, who was elected on the ticket of MQM in the 2013 general elections, resigned from his seat after developing differences with the party.

Even yesterday, Gabol congratulated Imran Khan challenging MQM in NA-246 by-polls and claimed that the decision has put MQM on defensive in a constituency considered as party’s stronghold.

PTI will be holding a rally in the constituency on April 19 while the by-election will be held on April 23.
