Nation awaiting overthrow of Nawaz-government: Dr Qadri

ISLAMABAD: Chief of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT), Dr Tahirul Qadri has said that the Nawaz-government wishes not to discuss the issue of elections rigging, while it has got no mandate at all, ARY News reported.

Addressing the participants of the PAT sit-in, Dr Tahirul Qadri entirely rejected the allegations claiming ISI and MI-6 to be backing the Islamabad sit-ins. He said that we talk about the rule of law and give logical arguments in support of our stance.

He inquired the ones leveling these allegations to elaborate who had ordered to divert his plane from Islamabad airport and for a massacre in Model Town.

The PAT chief inquired the rulers to explain had ISI planned the arrest of innocent PAT workers or MI-6 had diverted his plane from Islamabad airport. He added that if the MI-6 was behind all this, then why the British Ambassador was not summoned for an explanation.

He said it is easy to accuse someone, but difficult to prove such baseless allegations.

Dr Qadri lamented that presently the constitution of Pakistan is virtually suspended, adding that we will reinforce the constitution, once a revolution takes place here.

He said that the ruling PMLN has got nothing to do other than looting the national wealth.

The PAT chief challenged the government to deny any of his arguments logically. He slammed the government for claiming to end poverty in the country, adding that poverty can only be eliminated through justice, not by acquiring more and more loans.

Dr Tahirul Qadri said that his workers and supporters are helping in the rehabilitation of the flood-victims, while his organization is also making efforts in order to help the Muslims of Palestine.

He claimed that the IDPs of North Waziristan have also joined the PAT sit-in chanting ‘Go Nawaz Go’, whereas the same slogan echoed during Pak-India hockey match in Incheon, South Korea today.

Moreover, he said that the nation is awaiting the overthrow of the Nawaz-government and that time is not far away.
