Nation united against terrorism, says CM Punjab

LAHORE: Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has said that the whole nation is on the same page against terrorism, ARY News reported.

He made the statement while chairing a meeting of the provincial apex committee on Thursday.

CM Sharif stated that the whole nation is united against terrorism and positive results were achieved due to the decisions taken by the civil and military leadership.

He added that there has been a significant decline in terrorism due to the National Action Plan (NAP). He added that the action plan is a guarantor of peace in the country.

“The sacrifices of the country against terrorism are being lauded by the whole world,” Sharif said.

National Security Adviser Nasir Janjua, Corps Commander Lahore and Director General Rangers Punjab were present in the meeting chaired by the chief minister.

Steps taken to counter terrorism, extremism and sectarianism were discussed in the meeting
