National Assembly meets today

ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly will meet at the Parliament House here on Wednesday (today) with Speaker Ayaz Sadiq in chair, ARY News reported.

The session, which is expected to continue for two weeks, will likely to discuss the killing of a Christian couple in Kot Radha Kishan near Lahore, Indian violation of the Line of Control (LoC), Chinese investment in the country, deaths of children in Sindh’s Thar district and other matters.

The National Assembly is meeting ahead of the November 30th rally of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf in red zone of the federal capital.

The government has started to seal the sensitive federal capital area with containers to restrict the participants of the opposition party’s rally.
