Nawaz Sharif, Bilawal give messages on Father’s Day

KARACHI: Father’s Day is being celebrated today across the world. This day is celebrated on third Sunday of June every year to express acknowledgement for significant contribution of father towards family, ARY News reported.

It honors fathers for their relentless dedication for their families, and celebrates fatherhood and paternal bonds, and also the influence of fathers in our society.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on his message regarding the father day commemorate the compassion and resilience of every father nationwide.

“I hope we can all come together on this important occasion to appreciate their virtues,” he said.

He wished to commemorate all fathers and the sacrifices they have made to make us, and our newer generations, who we are today.

Nawaz Sharif said: “being a father and grandfather I understand the struggles my own father had to face and the sacrifices he had to make while raising me the best he could.”

Meanwhile, Chairman Pakistan People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari posted on his Twitter account: “Happy Father’s Day: Asif Ali Zardari you faced 11 years in prison, torture and lost your soul mate but never gave up and gave us a democratic Pakistan.”
