Pakistan’s Prime Minister said that the time has ripe to get rid of the cancer of terrorism and sectarianism from the country.
The meeting on counter-terrorism decided to crush rising menace of terrorism in the country with full might.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that a Zarb-i-Azb being fought in the tribal region another will be fought against the enemy hiding in cities and villages of the country. He said no discrimination will be made between the terrorists and those providing refuge to them.
He vowed a ‘decisive’ fight against the terrorists involved in attacks in Hazara Town of Quetta and Peshawar Church.
The meeting reviewed anti-terror laws and decided necessary amendments in order to make these laws more effective.
Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali, other ministers Ishaq Dar, Abdul Qadir Baloch, Prime Minister’s Special Assistant Khawaja Zaheer, Attorney General Salman Aslam Butt and Law Secretary Barrister Zafarullah attended the meeting.
