Nawaz Sharif alongwith Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique, Water and Power Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Frontier Regions Minister Abdul Qadir Baloch and Finance Minister Ishaq Dar will meet Asif Ali Zardari.
The former president will be accompanied by Opposition Leader Khursheed Shah alongwith Senators Aitezaz Ahsan and Raza Rabbani.
The teams of the two political leaders will have a luscious luncheon, comprising of delicious dishes. The two sides will discuss the political scenario of the country in the context of ongoing standoff with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) in Islamabad.
The co-chairman of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), after meeting the Prime Minister, will also meet Pakistan Muslim League – Quaid (PML-Q) leaders Chaudhry Pervez Elahi and Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain.
He will also meet Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) leadership today in Mansoora area of Lahore as well.
It should be noted that Zardari had dealt with the long marches and sit-ins during his tenure in such ways that even his strongest critics lauded his strategies in controlling the situation.
