Nawazuddin Siddiqui to star with Shahrukh and Salman

TOP NEWS

Nawazuddin Siddiqui has been basking in glory these past few days and why shouldn’t he. The actor’s Badlahpur role has received nods from Bollywood’s most prolific superstars and the film has been excelling as well. To add to his list of impressive feats, the star has been roped in to shoot for Shahrukh Khan’s upcoming film Raees.

The news is a surprise as both the Khans of Bollywood, Shahrukh and Salman haven’t taken a shine to each other since a couple of years. Both stars are always pitted against each other and even choose not to mingle at parties or public gatherings. The two actors haven’t also starred in a flick alongside each other for more than a couple of years now.

Nawazuddin, however, seems to be the only binding link between the two. Regarding the status of his two movies, this is what Siddiqui had to say. “I am going to start shooting for Raees very soon. And Bajrangi Bhaijaan is halfway done.”

The actor also expressed his happiness and excitement to be working with Shahurkh Khan in Raees. Nawazuddin also stated that he didn’t exactly become chummy with Salman that much during Kick but bonded with the actor during Bajrangi Bhaijan. “It feels great. I am quite looking forward to working with Shah Rukh. As for Salman, we didn’t really bond while shooting for Kick, but this time we spent a great deal of time together.”

Nawazuddin was also of the view that Bollywood movies were enough for him and he had no such desire to work in a Hollywood flick. “I think I am at a point where the kind of films that are being made here are no less than any international film. So if my movies are already going to Hollywood, why do I need to star in theirs?”

The audience really adored Nawazuddin in Badlapur due to his witty comments and impressive role-suited acting. It remains to be seen how he performs in Bajrangi Bhaijan and Raees. After all, getting caught up between the two Khans can take a toll on you!
