Bollywood stars seem to be making it big these days. After former Miss World and ‘In My City’ hitmaker Priyanka Chopra made headlines for starring in Quantico, Neil Nitin Mukesh has followed suit. The Indian actor bagged a role in the auspicious fantasy-fiction TV series Game of Thrones!
How it all actually came about, is quite simple. Neil will be starring in an upcoming movie by Sooraj Barjatya which is titled Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and also stars Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor. For his role in Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Neil Nitin Mukesh trained for sword-fighting action scenes. For this, he sought the professional guidance of Greg Powell, the action director of Game of Thrones.
“Greg has directed two sword-fighting sequences in PRDP for which I had to train for over a month in order to get the stance and wrist movements right. He seemed pretty impressed with all the hard work I put in and made the offer when we were shooting for the climax scene a few months ago,” he said.
