The film stars actress Kristen Stewart, Peyman Moaadi, John Carroll Lynch, Lane Garrison, and Joseph Julian Soriain in lead roles.
The plot of the prison drama film centres around Cole (Kristen Stewart) who joins the military for escaping her suffocating hometown. Cole, hoping to be deployed in Iraq, is sent on duty at the infamous Guantanamo Bay prison where she starts a strange friendship with a prisoner named Ali (Peyman Mooadi).
Cole then has to face the music for bonding with the prisoner.
Camp X-Ray is directed by Peter Sattler whereas the budget of the film is set at $1 million. The film will be released in cinemas across the United States on 17th October 2014.
It should be noted that the film had received positive reviews during its premier at Sundance Film Festival.
