New Zealand make 299-5 in fourth one-day

ABU DHABI: New Zealand, who won the toss and batted, made 299-5 in their 50 overs in the fourth day-night international against Pakistan in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday.

Trailing the series 2-1, New Zealand were lifted by skipper Kane Williamson who made 123 with 12 boundaries while opener Martin Guptill scored 58 and Dean Brownlie 42.

Both team observed a two-minute silence and wore black armbands.

Pakistan brought in Anwar Ali and Nasir Jamshed for Wahab Riaz and Asad Shafiq while New Zealand made three changes, leaving out James Neesham, Nathan McCullum and Anton Devcich for Daniel Vettori, Brownlie and Adam Milne.
