Twenty Bajaur girls handed over to families

PESHAWAR: Twenty little girls of Bajaur tribal region recovered from Karachi were handed over to their parents in Bajaur Agency, ARY News reported on Saturday.

In a special flight 20 girls brought Peshawar for handing them over to their families in Bajaur region. Assistant Political Agent Bajaur Fayyaz Sherpao was accompanied with the children.

The little girls were handed over to their parents in a gathering in Peshawar.

Additional Chief Secretary Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA), Azam Khan has said that the arrested accused being questioned about their involvement in the crime. He said Bajaur Police will assist Karachi Police in investigation of the offence.

Police had recovered 26 minor girls that were being forced to live in captivity over a loan settlement in Liaquatabad area of Karachi.

The law enforcement agencies have arrested five accused in Karachi and Bajaur for their alleged involvement in the crime.
